Job summary:
Lead Materials team to make sure production goes on smoothly with suitable inventory; and make sure to deliver customer orders on time.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up departmental goals and establish KPIs that meet the management requirements and align to the company objectives. Perform S&OP, MPS, Weekly Production Plan, shipping plan to maximize manufacturing capacity and productivity capacity limit.
2. Set forth, Implement and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems as required.
3. Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure responsive and efficient services.
4. Prepare and control companywide material budget according to company purchase policy.
5. Drive business results by improving material flow, accuracy of inventory data and operational efficiency with the overall goal to maximize the warehouse utilization and ensure sufficient raw material supply to meet the plant production requirements.
6. Play a key role in the support of the company's ERP system that related to material function.
7. Abnormal material usage / scrap tracking, control and prevention to minimize purchase budget and stock load.
8. Sino-HK logistics coordination and inventory distribution.
9. Take responsibilities of annual inventory counting, help customs to monitor contracted components.
10. Deal with other assignments assigned by superior.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor degree or above.
2. Above 8 years relative work experience.
3. Must be results-oriented, rich experience of materials and planning management.
4. Demonstrated business acumen and confidence communicating to senior management and cross functional team.
5. Demonstrated ability in managing systems, managing up, and managing peers.
6. Demonstrated proficiency in English written and verbal communication, problem-solving required.
7. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project, on-line collaboration tools, and databases required.
