Key Job Responsibilities Engineering Management: ?Lead the engineering team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of factory machinery and equipment. ?Develop and implement strategies for improving factory processes, reducing downtime, and optimizing production efficiency. ?Oversee the design, implementation, and commissioning of new equipment or factory upgrades, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Maintenance & Equipment Reliability: ?Establish and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure high equipment reliability. ?Monitor equipment performance and recommend modifications or upgrades to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and extend the lifespan of machinery. ?Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment and processes meet product specifications and quality standards. Process Improvement: ?Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in factory processes. ?Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production and propose solutions to enhance throughput and reduce waste. ?Analyze production data and KPIs to track performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Team Leadership & Development: ?Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. ?Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and identify training and development opportunities for engineers and technicians. ?Ensure cross-functional communication and teamwork between engineering, production, and quality departments. Budget Management: ?Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. ?Monitor expenses related to maintenance, spare parts, and capital projects, seeking opportunities for cost savings. Qualifications Education: ?Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. ?Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus. ?Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are preferred. Experience: ?At least 7-10 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial role. ?Proven experience in managing maintenance, process optimization, and equipment reliability in a factory setting. ?Experience in the manufacturing sector in Vietnam or Southeast Asia is an advantage. Skills: ?Strong technical knowledge of factory equipment, automation, and manufacturing processes. ?Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and maintenance management systems (CMMS). ?Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. ?Strong leadership and team management capabilities. ?Effective communication skills in both Chinese and English. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 主要工作職責: 1. 在整個產品開發階段,審查產品設計,設計變更,原型審查和相關產品規格,以確保工具能力和可制造性 Review the product design, design change, prototype review and related product specifications throughout product development phases to ensure tool-ability and manufacturability 2. 向成本團隊提供適當的詢價信息,如周期時間,機器噸位,螺桿/桶尺寸等。 Provide proper RFQ info to cost team, like cycle time, machine tonnage, screw/barrel size, etc. 3. 與客戶工程團隊一起進行模具DFM,模具試驗審查和批準。 Work with customer engineering team for tooling DFM, tooling trial review and approvals when needed. 4. 進行工具和生產問題的根本原因分析,并根據需要使用數據驅動的方法進行設計糾正。 Conduct tooling and production issues root cause analysis and apply design corrections as needed using data driven methodology. 5. 與供應商溝通,管理開發項目: Interface with suppliers to manage the development for: -注塑模具/注塑成型 - Injection mold/Injection molding -二次加工,包括表面裝飾,聲波焊接等 - Secondary process, including surface decorating, sonic welding, etc 6. 與質量團隊一起完成模具/零件PPAP。 Working with quality team for tooling/parts PPAP. 7.對供應商的技術能力進行評估并提出建議 Supplier technical capability assessment and recommendation for supplier 8.深入了解供應商的能力,并利用機會更有效地利用供應商在塑料模具和塑料制造方面的能力。 Provide insight into supply base capability, and leverage opportunities to more effectively utilize supplier capability for plastic mold and plastic manufacturing. 9.批量生產中的工裝維護。 Tooling maintenance in mass production. 10.支持降低成本。 Support cost reduction. Qualifications: Skills and Qualifications: 1. 本科以上學歷,機械工程、模具工程或相關專業。 - Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant areas, e.g. mechanical engineering, tooling engineering or similar. 2. 經驗: -Experience: 8年以上模具車間/模塑車間模具設計/項目管理經驗。 - 8+ years in tooling design/project management in tool-shop/molding shop. 良好的2k成型,LSR注塑經驗。 - Good experience in 2k molding, LSR injection. 良好的問題解決能力,特別是解決注塑模具問題,外觀缺陷,零件故障,加工問題等。 - Good problem solving skills especially in relation to trouble shooting plastic injection molds, aesthetic defects, part failure, processing issues, etc. -必須有模具圖紙審核和批準經驗。 - Tooling drawing review and approval experience is a must. 有工裝設計能力者優先。 Tooling design ability would be preferred. 會修改3D產品優先考慮。 - Ability in modifying product 3D is a plus. -必須有豐富的零件鑒定經驗,特別是多部件組裝的產品。 - Must have solid experience in parts qualification, especially for product with multiple components assembled together. -在快節奏和高質量的制造環境中有實踐經驗,并以細節為導向。 - Hands on experience in a fast paced and high quality manufacturing environment with details driven attitude. 能夠與美國或歐洲的客戶進行有效的英語溝通(口頭和書面)。 - Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written) with the clients in the USA or Europe. 3. 技能: Skill: -熟練使用UG, Pro/E等軟件 - Expertised in using software like UG, Pro/E, etc. 熟悉模具流程優先考慮。 - Knowlege in Using mold flow is a plus. 熟悉工程塑料的性能和成型工藝。 - Good knowledge with engineering plastics properties and molding process. -公差分析知識 - Knowledge in tolerance analysis -持續質量改進技術,如6 σ, DOE, Gage R&R和FMEA - Continuous quality improvement techniques such as 6 Sigma, DOE, Gage R&R & FMEA -演講和會議技巧 - - Presentation & conferencing skill 4.
